Awareness is key in educating the public. The public is the ultimate driving force behind the fight to save the elephants. The problem is, many people are not aware of the issue.
The youth is the next generation who will be protecting our gentle giants. We need to begin educating them now on the importance of elephants to Africa’s ecosystem. Integrating wildlife into curriculum will make a significant difference for the future. This includes taking children on excursions to national parks as well as expert lectures on the importance of the elephants on wildlife and resource management.
