Wrapped by the Elephant Cooperation 'Whole Village’ concept, our initiatives affect both environment, animal and human in a symbiotic way that benefits every member of these delicate African landscapes. From the skies to the land, from clean water for children or oases for animals, our programs consider the challenges of harsh environment and weak economy so that our performance is both realistic and leaves the greatest impact while we are there, but more importantly: when we leave. At the heart of these eight initiatives that are the core of Elephant
Cooperation’s giving is one common theme: education. Our team and specific missions know the only sustainable path is one where others embrace and champion our efforts long after we leave, so our missions always contain valuable information, skills and habits for successful living of both human and animal in our beloved Africa.
WE MUST HELP THE PEOPLE IF WE WANT TO SAVE THE ELEPHANTS
We believe in order to save the elephants we must help the people neighboring wildlife habitat. For years we have focused on the protection of elephants by funding elephant orphanages and fencing programs and granting to anti-poaching initiatives. The work rangers are undertaking is heroic and very important, which is why as we support anti-poaching programs we are also supporting human relief programs to take care of the people who are taking care of the wildlife.
